I opened my book and shuffled through the pages
And there I found a chapter,
A chapter filled w roses
It was a story of two in people in love began with undying affection for one another
But as I continued to flip through, the pages weren’t enough
Both foresaw their future together but the vision blurred
Unfortunately his lover is a poet
He’ll forever remain in her words
She still has the letter he wrote, Remembers the day they first met
And even the colour of his favorite shirt that he always wore
Black-Bentley like eyes, vintage yet sublime She tried not to drown
But her poor heart collapsed for lifetime
Now she has it, lover turned into a lesson With moments that were now memories That presence for her, was a temporary blessing”
And this is where the chapter ends
Perhaps their paths were never linked together
While all those promises changed to “you and I, for(n)ever”
“You and I, for(n)ever” by Ananya Sachdeva
I opened my book and shuffled through the pages
And there I found a chapter,

This poem is so very well articulated by ananya, it expresses the journey of love, loss, and lingering memories. The emotions feel so real and relatable and the imagery makes every moment come alive.
Loved thisss❤️❤️
Nice poem 😊
Your writing is incredibly evocative, bringing nostalgia!
ananya just dropped the hardest and arguably the best poem I have ever read and thought I will remain silent. Girl you are a master at work🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Your improvements are getting insane and unfathomable at this point.
This hits deep. The way you’ve captured love, loss, and memories is just beautiful.Every line feels so raw and real, and that ‘you and I, for(n)ever’ damn, that one stings. You have a way of turning emotions into poetry, and I’m in awe of it
