Dear You,
I write tonight, with a trembling hand,
Tracing the echoes where we used to stand.
The moonlight still hums our unspoken tune,
Yet silence now fills the space in this room.
“Tumse juda hokar bhi, juda ho nahi paaye,”
“Yaadon ki raah mein, hum kho nahi paaye.”
I do not wish for love reborn,
Nor mourn the bond that time has torn.
Yet in the quiet, when dreams take flight,
I wonder,do you still call my name at night?
We were fire once, untamed and free,
A storm that kissed both land and sea.
Yet some storms rage, but never stay,
Some fires burn, then fade away.
“Mohabbat ek daastaan thi, jo adhuri reh gayi,”
“Waqt ki kitaab mein, bas kahani keh gayi.”
I do not regret the roads we chose,
Some flowers bloom, then never close.
But somewhere in this heart of mine,
A part of you still lingers, divine.
No words were spoken the day we fell,
No echoes rang, no tolling bell.
Yet absence speaks in softened sighs,
In sleepless nights and clouded skies.
“Teri yaadon ka ek shor hai andar,”
“Har pal, har saans mein tera asar.”
I watch the sunrise, gold and grand,
And wonder if you miss my hand.
Or has time erased my every trace,
Like waves that kiss, then leave no space?
I will not write, “I wish you stayed,”
Some loves are meant to slowly fade.
But if in time, our paths should meet,
I’ll smile, my heart skipping a beat.
“Tera zikr aaj bhi aankhon mein chamakta hai,”
“Mera dil ab bhi wohi nagma gungunata hai.”
May love embrace you, warm and true,
May life be kind, may skies be blue.
And when the winds call out my name,
Know this,I once loved you the same.
Yours once, Never again
